Roy Ayers @ Velma's in San Francisco - Update

As you may have heard, either from the radio or blog (yours truly), Roy Ayers will be performing at Velma's in San Francisco on September 4 & 5 @ 9:00pm. Doors open at 8pm.

Tickets can be purchased at Velma's, 2246 Jerrold Ave, San Francisco or online @ Airborne Tickets. Price of tickets: $20.00 in advance or $25.00 at the door.

The Legendary Roy Ayers will be performing at Velma’s in San Francisco for two extraordinary nights, September 4 – 5, 2009.

He has produced some of the most loved modern soul-jazz records of all time such as, “Everybody Loves The Sunshine”, most influential afro-jazz with musician Fela Anikulapo-Kuti (Africa – Centre Of The World) and the most seminal jazz-funk, such as “Running Away”. And that’s just the surface.
