Dunsmuir and Jazz - Fourth Fridays

Terri Odabi will sing at Dunsmuir Hellman Historic Estate on July 24th as part of the Fourth Fridays Music and Movie series. This event will also show the movie: The Secret Garden.

Terri is returning from an engagement at the Monterey Blues Festival where she captured the crowd with her fantastic voice.

Bring your family, blankets, picnic supper, relax and enjoy a wonderful summer evening at the Dunsmuir Estate in Oakland. General Admission: $5.00

Dunsmuir and Jazz

Tonite is the first of the Fourth Friday Music and Movie series at the Dunsmuir Hellman Historical Estate. The jazz performance will be by David Douglas and the movie will be My Fair Lady with Audrey Hepburn. Start time 6pm. General Admission $5.00.

Busy with Jazz

Doug Ellington and his band members were in sync on Thursday night at Velma's. It was a great show...Doug will appear at Jupiters in Berkeley July 17th @ 8pm.

Getting ready for the next project; Dunsmuir Historic Estate. I have two great musicians confirmed to play: July 24 - Terrie Odabi and September 25 - Terrence Brewer. Very exciting!!!

Catching up with Jazz

From all of the graduation activity this week along with completing the "581" design project with Micki Brown Designs, today is catching up with emails, letters, proposals, web design, rescheduling meetings that I missed (ouch!) etc...

I have two artists booked for the Dunsmuir Music and Movie series; July & September. I will let the cat out of the bag when the ink dries (should be within the week). Let's just say that I have a talented and fantastic song stylist who will sing "Ella" and the movie is: The Secret Garden and a noted and awesome guitarist who plays Wes Montgomery and the movie is: the Neverending Story. Still working to book an artist for June but I may have to forgo this date due to time constraints. We shalll see....
